Overnight At A Friend's Boarding House, This Man Actually Stole A Motorbike And 2 Cellphones

JAKARTA – With the intention of committing theft, Dian Rendy did not indiscriminately. This blonde haired man had the heart to steal his friend's motorbike and cellphone. Ironically, the action was carried out while he was sleeping at his victim's house in the Pejaringan area, North Jakarta.

The head of the Sunda Kelapa Police, Kompol Seto Handoko Putra, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 1, in the early hours of the morning.

"Yes, that's right, the perpetrator of the motorcycle theft has been arrested," said Seto when confirmed, Wednesday, February 2.

Seto explained that the incident began when Dian (the perpetrator) was staying at the boarding house of the victim, Kusnadi (48). Kusnadi has allowed DRK to sleep at his house since Monday, January 31, at night.

While the victim was fast asleep, the perpetrator took advantage of the situation by taking the motorcycle keys and taking the victim's cellphone, Tuesday, February 2, in the early hours of the morning.

"Take the motorbike keys and 2 units of Kusnadi's cellphone that were lying on the table, and then brought the motorbike," he explained.

After Kusnadi realized something was wrong, he immediately reported DRK to the Sunda Kelapa Police.

"Receiving information, the perpetrator was in the Kali Besar area, Tambora, West Jakarta. Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an investigation, and at around 12.00 WIB the perpetrator was arrested," he said.

For his actions, the perpetrator is charged with Article 363 paragraph (1) to 3e of the Criminal Code for a maximum of seven years.
