DKI Jakarta Honorary Board Will Be Summoned Regarding Formula E Interpellation, Chairman Of DPRD Asks To Be Opened

JAKARTA - The Honorary Board of the DKI DPRD has scheduled a summons to the Chairperson of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, on Wednesday, January 26. Prasetyo was summoned on the report of DPRD members regarding the implementation of the interpellation plenary Formula E.

Responding to the call, Prasetyo asked the DKI DPRD BK to conduct an open examination of him. Because he had been waiting for this summons since it was reported four months ago.

"I have been waiting for this for a long time, when will I be called so I can explain that, you know. I ask that this summons be made open to the public, so that all can see," Prasetyo told reporters, Tuesday, January 25.

The member of the PDIP faction of the DKI DPRD emphasized that he would not shy away from BK's call. This is because the decision to schedule and hold a plenary meeting proposing the right of interpellation, according to him, is in accordance with the rules.

"Because I believe every hammer beat to decide something is in accordance with the rules," he said.

For information, seven factions and four deputy chairmen of the DKI DPRD officially reported Prasetyo to the BK DPRD DKI on September 28, 2021. The factions included the Gerindra Party, PKS, Democrat, Nasdem, Golkar, PAN, and PPP-PKB.

"As a form of our responsibility to keep this honorable institution running well. So, we have an obligation to remind anyone who violates the provisions and rules of the game in the DPR," said the chairman of the Golkar faction, Basri Baco, some time ago.

Baco said that his party reported Prasetyo to the BK because it was suspected that he had not heeded the rules and regulations of the DPRD by holding a plenary meeting for the Interpellation of Formula E.

"We suspect that there is an administrative violation of correspondence related to the invitation to the Deliberative Body and the implementation of the plenary session that was held earlier," he said.
