Continue Kunker From South Sumatra, President Jokowi Arrives In Tanjungpinang Riau Islands

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo arrived in Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands after carrying out a series of activities in South Sumatra.

Reported by Antara from the release of the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, using the Presidential plane Indonesia-1, the President and his entourage took off from Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport, Palembang City, at around 18.00 WIB, Monday, January 24.

Arriving at Raja Haji Fisabillah Airport, Tanjungpinang City, President Jokowi was greeted by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Governor of the Riau Islands Ansar Ahmad, Commander of the Joint Defense Area Command One (Pangkogabwilhan I) Vice Admiral TNI Muhammad Ali, Pangdam I/Bukit Barisan Major General TNI Hassanuddin.

The Riau Islands Police Chief, Inspector General Pol. Aris Budiman Bulo, Danlantamal IV TNI First Admiral Dwika Tjahja Setiawan, and Danlanud Raja Haji Fisabilillah Colonel Pnb. Andi Wijanarko.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 25, President Jokowi is scheduled to hold a meeting with Singaporean Prime Minister (PM) Lee Hsien Loong in Bintan Regency.

In addition, the two will also chair bilateral meetings between the delegations of the two countries, and witness the signing and exchange of a number of Memorandums of Understanding.
