660 Households In Pakuhaji, Tangerang Regency, Flooded, BPBD Builds Refugee Tents

TANGERANG REGENCY - As many as 660 families in Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency were affected by flooding. In this area the water level reaches 90 centimeters, exceeding the knee of an adult.

However, many residents in Pakuhaji Village still survive in their respective homes.

"Hundreds of family heads are still living in their respective homes. The water level is 50 to 90 centimeters. The height is higher than yesterday, last night it rose," said Head of Emergency Management and Logistics for BPBD Tangerang Regency, Abdul Munir via text message, January 20.

Munir said that the flood occurred due to the high intensity of rain. In addition, from Bogor shipments and the overflow of the Cisadane River.

"The high rainfall and the flow of water from Bogor, the overflow from the Cisadane River caused flooding in Sungai Turi Village," he said.

Munir said that the locations most affected by the flood were Gaga Village, Pakuhaji, Tangerang Regency. In the village, continued Munir, the number of houses that were flooded was 230 (KK).

"Yes, Gaga Village RW 5, there are 230 families submerged in the flood. However, the height is 30 to 50 centimeters," he explained.

For this incident, his party will prepare two refugee tents and a public kitchen in Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency to ease the burden of victims affected by the flood.

"Today's plan is to install refugee tents and public kitchens in Pakuhaji District," he said.
