After Nidji's Band Appears At JIS, Giring: Don't Listen To Contributing Voices

JAKARTA - PSI General Chair Giring Ganesha said that there would be someone who fell in October on his Twitter account @Giring_Ganesha.

Then, Giring also mentioned 2024, which was an election year. However, Giring did not explain the context of the sentence he meant.

"Don't listen to discordant voices. In October someone will fall. We will quickly close the gate. In 2024 God willing, Indonesia will not fall into the abyss," Giring tweeted, quoted on Tuesday, January 18.

Although it did not mention who was meant, Giring's tweet was written shortly after DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan watched Nidji's band during a sound system trial at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta.

By uploading a photo on his Instagram account, Anies said that Nidji's appearance without Giring had no discord. Then, Giring also mentioned the word "don't" in his tweet on Twitter.

As is known, Anies' term as Governor of DKI will end in October 2022.

For information, during the sound system trial at JIS last night, Nidji appeared to be performing the song "Hapus Aku" sung by vocalist Muhammad Yusuf Nur Ubay. Ubay is the replacement vocalist for Giring Ganesha, who is currently entering politics.

Anies admitted that he was amazed to see Nidji's appearance at the international-class stadium whose construction is almost complete. The impression he got was the melodious chanting of the music that was brought by Nidji.

"Spectacular! Seeing the performance of Nidji's band during the JIS sound system trial last night, while inspecting 93% of the completion of the stadium construction. The music is blaring, the sound is melodious, there are no discordance," said Anies on the aniesbaswedan Instagram account.

This post immediately shocked the netizens. Some of them thought that Nidji's appearance at JIS was Anies' way to respond to the criticisms that Giring often made to him.
