List 33 Indonesian National Team Players For The 2024 AFF Cup

The Indonesian national team will fight in the 2024 AFF Cup with many young players (VOI/Ferry Tri Adi Sasono).

JAKARTA - The head coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, officially summoned 33 players into the squad to appear in the 2024 AFF Cup. However, before that, all players will first undergo a training camp (TC) in Bali from November 26, 2024 to December 5, 2024.

In the list of players released, Shin Tae-yong is seen including descendants, such as Justin Hubner (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Ivar Jenner (FC Utrecht), and Rafael Struick (Brisbane Rour).

In addition, a row of players playing abroad, such as Marselino Ferdinand, Pratama Arhan, Asnawi Mangkualam, and Ronaldo Kwateh were also included.

Even so, the willingness of abroad players is still uncertain. The reason is, it depends on the permission of each club because the 2024 AFF Cup is not included in the FIFA official agenda.

The opportunity for young players was also opened by Shin Tae-yong as wide as possible. For this reason, he called Dony Tri Pamungkas (Persija Jakarta), Arkhan Kaka (Persis Solo), and Kadek Arel (Bali United) to show their abilities in the 2024 AFF Cup.

In the 2024 AFF Cup which starts rolling on December 9, 2024-5 January 2025, the Indonesian national team is in Group B with Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos.

The opening match will bring together Indonesia and Myanmar on December 9, 2024.

Of the total 33 players who were summoned to the Indonesian national team, in the future only 23 names will be brought to the 2024 AFF Cup.
