Surabaya Deputy Mayor Asks Residents To Report Hollow Roads To "Wargaku"

SURABAYA - Surabaya City Deputy Mayor Armuji asked residents of the City of Heroes, East Java, to report hollow roads to the "Wargaku" application, which functions as a media for complaints and services for residents.

"In addition to reporting to the 112 command center, residents can also submit to the 'WargaKu' application," he said in Surabaya, quoted by Antara, Monday, January 17.

He guarantees a quick response from the Surabaya City Government if you encounter hollow roads and bumpy roads. "If the handling is slow, contact me, either through social media or personal cellphones, I will follow up," he said.

According to Armuji, during the rainy season, some roads in the city of Surabaya are not all smooth. There are many hollow roads and uneven roads.

Armuji received reports from residents via his personal cell phone that there were hollow roads and bumpy roads on Kapasan Street, Tambaksari Street, and Bubutan Street near Tugu Pahlawan.

Finding this, Armuji immediately conveyed it to the Task Force from the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) at the Surabaya City Government. The task force then responded quickly by paving at the location where the hollow roads were found.

"Every year during the rainy season, apart from puddles, there are always problems with hollow roads and waves, the most important thing is that the city government has responded quickly," he said.

The Deputy Mayor explained that there were 20 National Roads which in the era of the Mayor of Surabaya Tri Rismaharini were handed over to the Surabaya City Government in 2022.

"The municipal government is also thinking about maintaining the National road as well," said Armuji.

There are also 20 national roads including Ahmad Yani Street, Wonokromo Flyover, Wonokromo Street, Diponegoro Street, Pasar Kembang Street, Arjuno Street, Kalibutuh Street, Demak Street, and Wonokromo Street Station.

Then, Ratna Street/South Upajiwa Street, Kencana/Bung Tomo Street, Ngagel Street, Sulawesi Street, Biliton Street, Gubeng Street, Gubeng Station Street, Kusuma Bangsa Street, Kapasari Street, and Ir Soekarno Street or Merr Street.
