SOLO - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka responded to the polemic on the packaging of snacks with a picture of Kaesang Pangarep, who is his youngest brother.

"There was a misunderstanding," he said in Solo as reported by Antara, Monday, January 17. However, his party welcomes the snack with the picture of his sister to be withdrawn from circulation. "Yes, please withdraw, pull," he said.

Regarding the launch of the new packaging for the snack product 'TRICKS' featuring an illustration of Kaesang Pangarep's face for retail market distribution, through its official statement, PT Harapan Bangsa Kita (GK Hebat) in collaboration with PT Jaya Swarasa Agung Tbk or Tays Bakers (TAYS) spoke up.

Tays Bakers CEO Alexander Anwar said, from the beginning, he had an agreement with TAYS not to sell TRICKS products with an illustration of Kaesang Pangarep's face to State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and did not take part in negotiations with Garuda Indonesia or its subsidiary Aerofood ACS.

"As for distribution on airlines, we will use TRICKS products with standard packaging without an endorser illustration. We will exchange all TRICKS products at Aerofood ACS with standard packaging," he said.
