Long Time Living Alone In Apartment, Young Female Employee Found Dead Hanging In Room

JAKARTA - An employee with the initials M (32) was found dead hanging on a bedroom door at the Royal Mediterania Garden Apartment, West Jakarta. The victim died with a rope wrapped around his neck.

The information obtained, the victim has been living alone for a long time on the 7th Floor of the Royal Mediterania Garden Apartment.

"(victim) Purely committed suicide. It must be (check CCTV footage). He ended his life with a rope, he has lived alone for a long time," said Tanjung Duren Police Chief, Commissioner Rosana Albertina Labobar when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, January 13.

The discovery of the victim's body was discovered on Wednesday, January 12, at around 19:00 WIB. Ocha, the nickname of the Tanjung Duren Police Chief, said that the victim's family was suspicious because they had been contacted yesterday without a response.

"When (the family) came to the crime scene, the position of the door was locked from the inside (the door latch was locked). Then called security to open the door and found the victim hanging on the bedroom door," explained Ocha.

The victim's body was then evacuated and brought by the family for burial. The family did not want to do an autopsy.

From the identification results, there were no signs of violence on the victim's body. However, the police did not specify where the victim worked. However, Ocha continued to investigate by checking CCTV footage at the scene.
