How Erick Thohir Realizes His Vision Of Achieving Golden Indonesia In 2045

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprise Erick Thohir conveyed his vision to develop Indonesia in the future, namely achieving Indonesia Gold by 2045.

This was revealed when Erick Thohir attended an event with the theme Grand Design Towards a Golden Indonesia 2024: Reviewing President Jokowi's Vision of Advanced Indonesia at the Auditorium of the University of North Sumatra.

Erick expressed his gratitude to President Jokowi for refusing the export of raw materials at an international meeting. According to him, this is a bold step and will save the nation's natural resources.

"Thank you, Mr. President, who did not want to sign, because when he signed, we sent the role without any supply chance," he said.

In his speech, Erick said that the knowledge base economy is an important thing to implement so that Indonesia Gold 2045 can be achieved immediately.

He assessed that current economic growth should not only depend on natural resources but must also be supported by technology.

"So far, we have only hoped for natural resources, where they can run out and cannot be used again in the future. Therefore, our challenge in the future lies in the knowledge base economy. Now is the era of humans who are the center of growth," said Erick.

Jokowi's government is very focused on building infrastructure. In the Jokowi era, more than 1,500 kilometers of roads have been built that can improve connectivity and the community's economy.

Not only roads, but dams, airports, borders have not escaped the attention of President Jokowi's government.
