Explosion At Las Deli Serdang Workshop, 4 People Killed

MEDAN - An explosion occurred at a welding shop on Jalan Binjai, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. Four people died in the explosion.

"For now, the data on the victims who died are 4 people on the spot," said Danyon A Pioneers of the North Sumatra Regional Police Mobile Brigade, Kompol Bernhard L. Malau, to reporters, Thursday, August 27.

This explosion also resulted in 9 people seriously injured. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

This incident occurred around 10.00 WIB. From initial information, it is known that the explosion came from LPG gas cylinders and oxygen gas cylinders.

The magnitude of the explosion severely damaged Suriono's workshop building. Cars that passed at the scene were also damaged.

"The car was damaged by the debris from the gas cylinder explosion," said Bernhard.
