Police Hunt For Attackers At BTK Bali

BADUNG - The Kuta Police, Badung, Bali team investigated a case of beatings that left the victim battered and treated at Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar.

The beating took place at the Tanah Kilap Dam (BTK), in the early hours of Sunday, January 9th.

"The information (the victim) has been taken to the Sanglah Hospital, then reported to the Kuta Police for further processing. The perpetrator is still being investigated", said Kuta Police Chief, Kompol Orpa SM Takalapeta, Monday, January 10.

At that time, the victim, Reynaldus UA, and his colleague, Adrianus Erfandy Kristian Djena, passed by in Canggu, North Kuta District, riding a motorbike.

On the way, the victim wanted to stop by a friend's place in the eastern dam area of Bali Galeria Mall.

While at the entrance to the dam, the victim and his partner were intercepted by two unidentified men. The two people asked the victim's purpose.

One of them then forbade it. Because the victim forced his way in, the perpetrator hit the victim. Because there was a crowd of people suspected of being friends of the perpetrator, the victim's friends fled.

"After a while, the reporter (a friend of the victim) returned to the scene, it turned out that the victim was no longer at the scene and the information had been taken to Sanglah Hospital", he said.
