JAKARTA - Social media activist Permadi Arya or commonly called Abu Janda revealed that there is no such thing as Islamophobia in the country. However, there are many other phobias or fears such as sesajenphobia to valentinephobia.

This was conveyed by Abu Janda in response to a viral video of a bearded man kicking an offering placed by a resident of Sumbersari Pronojiwo Village, Lumajang, East Java.

"The fact is that there is NO Islamophobia in Indonesia. In fact, in Indonesia, it is Sesajenphobia (offering-phobia, ed), Salibphobia (cross-phobia, ed), Merry Christmasphobia, New Churches, New Years, and also Valentinephobia," wrote Abu Janda in the title of his Instagram post, @permadiaktivis2, as quoted on Monday, January 10.

Although there are many phobias or fears felt by certain groups, Abu Janda said there is one thing that is not feared and even waited for its presence.

"Only Chinese New Year Angpao survived Phobia (laughing emoticon) 100% FACT (thumb emoticon) Good morning, don't forget to have coffee (smile emoticon)," he said.

Not only that, but Abu Janda also uploaded a photo of himself with a mountain background and a house in the countryside.

In the photo, he wrote, "There is an offering you are worried about. Look at the cross, you are afraid. There is a Christmas day you are worried. There is a new church, you are restless. Passing the New Year and Valentine's Day, you are upset. But you are hooked on angpao."

"You're actually human? Are you a money-grubber demon?"

The photo uploaded by Abu Janda has received 7,780 likes and various comments from Instagram users. One of them, an account named @iwan_ang.

"Only Christmas Discounts and Chinese New Year's Angpao brought them to their knees... (laughing emoticon)," wrote the netizen.

As previously reported, a 25-second viral video circulated showing a man wearing a black vest arbitrarily kicking an offering belonging to a resident. When kicking, this man also said 'Allahu Akbar'.

It wasn't just one offering that the man kicked. But there are some offerings at other points that he destroys.
