Fast Process In Ferdinand Hutahaean's Tweet Case About 'Your God Is Weak'

JAKARTA - The process of the alleged spread of hoaxes or religious blasphemy that made Ferdinand Hutahaean the reported person is proceeding quickly. Because it didn't take long for the status of the case to move from an investigation to an investigation.

The alleged case of blasphemy was originally reported by the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police on Wednesday, January 5. However, a day later the status was immediately investigated.

Head of Public Information, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said that the increase in status to an investigation was based on the results of the case title. Where, the team of investigators believes that there has been a criminal violation.

"Decided to raise the case from an investigation to an investigation," said Ramadhan.

In addition, the investigative team immediately sent a Notice of Investigation Commencement (SPDP) to the Attorney General's Office.

With the status of the case being upgraded to an investigation, it means that sooner or later there will be a suspect determination. However, in this case, it is Ferdinand Hutahaean who is still a witness.

"Investigators of the Cyber Crime Directorate of the National Police have issued an SPDP or notification letter for the start of the investigation and it has been sent to the Attorney General's Office," he said.

The status of the investigation of the case was increased after the investigative team examined witnesses and experts. In total, it reached 10 witnesses in just one day.

"In total there are 10 witnesses, 5 witnesses, and 5 expert witnesses," said Ramadhan.

For experts who are asked for information, for example, linguists, sociologists, criminal experts, religious experts, and ITE experts. The statements of these experts strengthen the occurrence of criminal offenses.

On the other hand, following up after the status of the case was investigated, Ferdinand Hutahaean, who was the reported person, would be questioned.

"Of course, investigators who plan to follow up will send a summons to FH's brother (Ferdinand Hutahaean, ed) to send a summons as a witness," said Ramadhan.

However, regarding the time of the examination, Ramadhan could not confirm it.

"Regarding when, we have not received any information," said Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, Ferdinand Hutahaean was reported on suspicion of spreading hoaxes or blasphemy to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. The report follows his tweet on his Twitter account @FerdinandHaean3 about 'Your God is Weak'.

Ferdinand is suspected of violating Article 45 a paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 2, Law 11 of 2008 concerning ITE, and Article 14 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
