JAKARTA - Novel Baswedan and 43 former KPK employees will be assigned to the corruption prevention task force. This placement awaits the formation of the Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas).

"The 44 ASN (including Novel Baswedan, ed) will be assigned to the Corruption Prevention Task Force," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Thursday, January 6.

Actually, Novel Baswedan and his friends will be placed in Kortas. However, until now Kortas has not been officially formed.

"Formers from the KPK who have become ASN will later be assigned or placed in the Kortas Corruption Eradication Commission. Later, they will wait for the Kortas Tipikor to be formed," said Ramadhan.

In Kortas Corruption, former KPK employees will be placed in different positions. For example, investigators and so on depending on their respective competencies.

"Of course in accordance with the competition, yes, we will see if he is an investigator later, we will see," said Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, Novel Baswedan along with 43 other former KPK employees were inaugurated as Polri ASN on December 9, 2021. Furthermore, the 44 Polri ASNs attended the Police administration briefing and education period in Bandung for two weeks.
