Arrest Sinetron Artist With Initials CA, Police Admit To Bagging Public List Of Figures In Online Prostitution Network

JAKARTA - The police arrested three pimps in an online prostitution case involving a soap opera artist with the initials CA. The police have also pocketed the names of the public figures who are included in the list of the pimps.

"Next is KK (24), then R (25), UA (26) which we showed behind. The three of them are pimps", said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Friday, December 31.

Of the three pimps, the police found a bigger fact. The police have pocketed the names of public figures who are also involved in online prostitution networks.

"Then to the public figures who are included in the list of pimps", said Zulpan.

According to him, the public figures caught in online prostitution are still young. However, Zulpan was reluctant to reveal the identity and number of public figures involved in the network.

"Those who are, on average, still young do not engage in online prostitution anymore", said Zulpan.

Meanwhile, the CA soap opera actor was arrested at the Aston Hotel, Central Jakarta. Arrest related to online prostitution.

In this case, the suspects, including CA, were charged with Article 27 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 1 of Law Number 19/2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE with 6 years in prison.

Then, Article 2 paragraph 1 of Law Number 21 of 2017 concerning the Crime of Trafficking in Persons and Article 506 of the Criminal Code and Article 296 of the Criminal Code.
