South Sulawesi Governor Orders Public Place Managers To Use PeduliLindungi Application

MAKASSAR - Acting Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman asked managers of all public places and public bodies to apply registered visitors to the PeduliLindungi application.

This is a manifestation of the commitment of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government to be integrated with PeduliLindungii which is in line with the direction of the central government.

"We urge all points of government service and other public places to require every visitor to scan the QR Code via the PeduliLindungi application before entering," said Andi Sudirman in Makassar, as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 22.

The PeduliLindungi application was developed to assist the government in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

In this application, everyone will be tracked whether they have been vaccinated or not and travel anywhere. The PeduliLindungi application can also show a COVID vaccine certificate.

The Acting Governor of South Sulawesi explained that the PeduliLindungi application was starting to become a new requirement and rule for people who wanted to mobilize.

"Therefore, we want in public places especially in government offices to immediately implement the PeduliLindungi application. This is a form of integrated South Sulawesi PeduliLindungi," he said.

With the implementation of the QR scan process, he said, it would also make it easier for the government to screen maps of the spread of the virus and public safety.

Andi Sudirman hopes that this will encourage the public's desire to immediately vaccinate against COVID-19.
