Contra Celta Vigo Series, Flick: They Should Think That Winning Victory Is Not Easy

JAKARTA - Barcelona manager Hansi Flick was furious to see his troops' appearance in the 2-2 series against Celta Vigo in the 14th week of La Liga 2024/2025 at the Abanca-Balaidos Stadium, Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Azulgrana had a 2-0 lead through goals from Raphinha (15') and Robert Lewandowski (61').

However, victory was in sight when normal time was six minutes away. Within two minutes, Celta Vigo equalized 2-2 and the result lasted until the game was over.

Barca are now without a win in two consecutive matches. Previously, they lost to Real Sociedad ahead of the international break.

They failed to win a single of three league games during Lamine Yamal, who was sidelined with injury, did not play as a starter.

No wonder, Flick was very disappointed with his team's performance which was called very bad.

"Sometimes you see a performance like that from a team. I didn't expect us to be able to play so badly like that, but that's how it is. We have to get up and move on. It's a game."

Previously, Barcelona seemed easy to win, which predicted to pave their way to the La Liga title this season, before losing against Sociedad and slipping Real Madrid.

In fact, not a few think Azulgrana's slick appearance also opens up a great opportunity to win the 2024/2025 Champions League after they beat Bayern Munich 4-1 easily.

However, this assumption was tried to be countered by Hansi Flick so that his troops would not get lost in the comfort zone. The German coach tried to make his troops clean up and have a consistent spirit every match.
