BOYOLALI - The Regent of Boyolali M. Said Hidayat hopes that inter-religious people will maintain togetherness, mutual cooperation, and the close ties of friendship that have been established in this area during the celebration of Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022.

"We ask that we continue to maintain togetherness, mutual cooperation, and the close ties of friendship that have been established between religious communities in Boyolali Regency," said M. Said Hidayat at the "Religious Leaders Gathering in the Framework of the 2021 Christmas and 2022 New Year Celebrations" at the Boyolali Kesbangpol. , Central Java, Antara, Monday, December 20.

Said invites inter-religious people to maintain a condition that has been conditional, harmonious, and intertwined so far.

"Whatever your religion, whatever you profess, we all stand in the same room, namely Boyolali Regency. We are all brothers," he said.

By maintaining the integrity and togetherness, according to the Regent, this already good harmonious relationship will be able to encourage each other and provide positive energy to each other.

"Hopefully our Christian and Catholic brothers and sisters in the implementation of worship can run well, safely, smoothly as is the common hope so that all grow up in religion in a comfortable situation in the bond of brotherhood," he said.

The event held by the National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) of Boyolali Regency was attended in addition to the Regent, as well as the Regional Secretary of Boyolali Regency Masruri, Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Boyolali Regency KH Habib Ichsanudin, and other religious leaders in this area.

Head of the Boyolali District Kesbangpol Office, Arif Budi Nuranto, explained that the purpose of this activity was to foster a sense of nationalism and patriotism among religious believers, as well as to create safe and controlled conditions ahead of the 2021 Christmas celebrations and the turn of the 2022 New Year in this area.
