JAKARTA - Former KPK investigator Stepanus Robin Pattuju admitted that he still wanted to reveal the role of KPK Deputy Chair Lili Pintauli Siregar and a lawyer named Arief Aceh.

"I need to reiterate the request for justice collaborator, I will reveal the role of the KPK commissioner Mrs. Lili Pintauli Siregar and lawyer Arief Aceh," said Stepanus Robin while reading the defense memorandum (pleidoi) at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), quoted by Antara, Monday, 20 December.

In the indictment it is stated that Lili Pintauli Siregar had suggested that former Tanjungbalai Mayor M. Syahrial contact a lawyer named Arief Aceh.

Lili gave this suggestion because she found that M. Syahrial's case file related to the sale and purchase of positions at Tanjungbalai was on Lili's desk. However, M. Syahrial ultimately did not contact Arief Aceh and chose to use the Stepanus Robin route to manage his case.

"In addition, I am also very sorry and apologize if the actions I have done have tarnished the good name of the KPK. However, I also hope and ask for justice so that Mrs. Lili Pintauli Siregar is processed according to the contents of my justice collaborator letter," said Stepanus Robin. .

Robin supports the report of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) to the Attorney General's Office.

"That it is a criminal offense under Article 35 and Article 36 of Law Number 30 of 2002 concerning the Corruption Eradication Commission," said Robin.

In this case, Stepanus Robin Pattuju is required to be sentenced to 12 years in prison plus a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison, to accept bribes of Rp. 11.025 billion and US$ 36,000 (around Rp. 513 million) for a total of Rp. 11.5 billion related to the handling of five cases of alleged corruption at the KPK. .

Robin was also asked to pay a replacement money of Rp2,322,577,000.00 which if not imprisoned, will be sentenced to 2 years.

Stepanus Robin and his fellow advocate, Maskur Husain, were found guilty of accepting bribes related to five cases at the KPK, namely the first to accept bribes from former Tanjungbalai Mayor M. Syahrial in the amount of Rp. investigation stage.

In the third case, Robin and Maskur received Rp. 507.39 million from the inactive Mayor of Cimahi, Ajay Muhammad Priatna, who was not involved in the investigation of social assistance cases in Bandung Regency, Bandung City and Cimahi City.

In the fourth case, Robin and Maskur received Rp. 525 million from Usman Effendi, a convict of the corruption case of land use rights in Tenjojaya who is serving a 3 year prison sentence.

In the fifth case, Robin and Maskur received Rp5,197,800,000.00 from the former Regent of Kutai Kartanegara Rita Widyasari.
