JAKARTA - A motorcyclist died as a result of being hit by a fallen tree on Jalan Metro Pondok Indah, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Saturday afternoon.

The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) through its official Twitter account said the incident occurred at 15.00 WIB.

BPBD said the fire brigade and local forestry sub-department immediately evacuated the fallen tree for more than an hour.
