MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution received a smart city award in the "smart governance" category from the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) in Tangerang, Banten.

The Ministry of Communication and Informatics assesses that the Medan City Government has succeeded in implementing population administration services and the achievement of the preparation of the master plan and implementation of the smart city program.

After receiving the award, the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution admitted that the Medan City Government was developing an integrated service for the administration of an effective, efficient, transparent and accountable local government.
