JAKARTA - A total of 44 former employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will be sworn in as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the National Police today, Thursday, December 9.

Member of Commission III of the DPR RI PPP faction Arsul Sani, hopes that the process of appointing Novel Baswedan and colleagues as National Police ASN really goes without any obstacles.

"As members of Commission III of the DPR, I hope that in the future they will be able to carry out their main duties as ASN Polri who are also tasked with carrying out law enforcement work," Arsul told reporters, Thursday, December 9.

However, Arsul reminded that the communication styles in the Police and the KPK are not the same. So the 44 former KPK employees had to adjust to the Polri environment.

"I also feel the need to remind these former KPK friends that in the future they will be Polri ASN and no longer KPK employees. There are differences in culture, work procedures, and different institutional environments between Polri and KPK. So, they also need to make adjustments in a new work environment," said Arsul.

According to the Deputy Chair of the MPR, these 44 former KPK employees need to make some adjustments in their communication style when they become Polri ASN. Because, Arsul considered, the communication style at the KPK could not be applied in the Police.

"What must be maintained, of course, is integrity and a high work ethic in law enforcement, but apart from integrity and work ethic, they also need to make adjustments to the culture or work environment in their new place. The way of working like at the KPK is fully implemented within the Police. In fact, there may even be something that has to be changed," said Arsul.

The Deputy General Chairperson of the PPP hopes that 44 former KPK employees can synergize with members or ASN Polri.

"I hope that the National Police Chief and the leadership of the National Police can utilize their abilities and work experience to participate in handling the work

law enforcement, both corruption, and other serious crimes," said Arsul.
