Today, Traffic Around The DPR / MPR Building Is Restricted

JAKARTA - Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said the police had prepared traffic engineering around the DPR / MPR RI building in anticipation of securing President Joko Widodo's state speech.

However, Sambodo said, traffic engineering is situational and changes can be made according to conditions in the field.

"The traffic flow engineering tomorrow around the DPR / MPR building is situational in nature," said Sambodo, quoted by Antara, Friday, August 13.

Sambodo also conveyed that the traffic flow engineering scheme around the DPR / MPR RI Building on Friday, August 14, included:

1. Traffic flow from Jl. Gatot Subroto, the direction of the DPR / MPR RI Building is turning left onto Jl. Youth Gate. 2. Traffic flow from Jl. Pemuda Gate towards Jl. Gatot Subroto turned around under the overpass of Pharmacy to Jl. Youth Gate. 3. The flow of traffic from the inner-city toll road that will exit at the Pulo Dua off-ramp will be straightened to the Tomang Toll Road. 4. Traffic flow from Jl. East Palmerah towards Jl. Gelora was straightened to Jl. Student Army. 5. Traffic flow from Jl. Asia Afrika direction Jl. Gelora turns right onto Jl. Youth Gate. 6. Traffic flow from Jl. Pemuda Gate towards Jl. Gelora is turned left on Jl. Asia Africa.

On Friday at the DPR / MPR RI Building, the MPR RI Annual Session will be held, which will be held in conjunction with the Joint Session of the DPR RI and DPD RI, as well as President Joko Widodo's state speech in delivering the 2021 RAPBN.

The MPR RI Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR RI and DPD RI will begin at 09.00-11.00 WIB, followed by a speech on government financial notes in the framework of the 2021 RAPBN starting at 14.00-16.00 WIB.

The session began with singing the national anthem "Indonesia Raya" and was continued with the opening of the Annual Session by the Speaker of the MPR, Bambang Soesatyo. Then, followed by a Joint Session of the DPR and DPD RI which will be opened by the Chairman of the DPR RI Puan Maharani.
