Police Response Seeing Novel Baswedan Cs Who Wanted To Return To The KPK When He Was Accepted As State Civil Servants Police

JAKARTA - Novel Baswedan Cs still has a hope to be able to return to work at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the future. How did the police react after accepting them and making ASN (State Civil Servants) in the National Police?

Police Public Relations Division officials responded positively to Novel Baswedan and other former KPK employees to strengthen the anti-corruption agency after becoming a National Police ASN.

"I think we as humans when people have aspirations, have hopes, yes, it's not something that violates", said the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, at Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Wednesday, December 8.

According to Rusdi, the recruitment of 44 former KPK employees who expressed their willingness to join the National Police ASN continues.

Rusdi did not explain the possibility that 44 former KPK employees who had been appointed as National Police ASNs could be assigned to the anti-corruption agency because they were both civil servants.

"The most important thing from the Police is how the things that have been prepared by the Police have been responded to by 44 former KPK employees", Rusdi said as quoted by Antara.

Previously, after taking a competency test at the National Police Headquarters TNCC Building, Tuesday, December 7, former senior KPK investigator Novel Baswedan expressed his desire to be able to strengthen the KPK again.

"Of course we can return to the KPK to carry out serious and serious tasks to eradicate corruption", said Novel.

Yudi Purnomo, the former chairman of the KPK Employee Association, also expressed a similar desire.

"I myself am committed that one day after I serve in the police, I must return to the KPK", said Yudi.

Likewise, Giri Suprapdiono, former Director of Anti-Corruption Campaign and Socialization for the KPK, hopes to return the KPK's money.

According to Giri, joining the National Police is one way for them to return to the KPK by doing their best in the Police first.

"Hopefully we can return to the KPK someday if the conditions allow", said Giri.

It is scheduled for 44 former KPK employees to be sworn in as National Police ASN on Thursday, December 9 which coincides with World Anti-Corruption Day.
