JAKARTA - Masses of workers who are members of various alliances, gathered in the Pulogadung Industrial area, East Jakarta to hold a demonstration demanding an increase in wages.

However, the action caused a commotion when the mass of workers carried out a sweep by inviting other workers in the Pulogadung area to take to the streets to stage a demonstration.

"Don't be silent. Fight together. Let's go, friends, let's move," said one of the orators from the workers' command car, Wednesday, December 8th.

Groups of mass workers also visited the factories that had not yet sent mass workers for action. They told security that they asked one of their workers as a representative to join the action.

The mass of workers stood in front of the fence of one of the factories in the Industrial area, while waiting for workers' representatives to join the action.

However, a commotion occurred when there was a refusal from other workers who refused to join and continue to work. Bickering and pushing each other is unavoidable.

Luckily, the TNI and Polri officers who were on guard at the location were able to intervene. So the workers returned to continue their journey to fight for their demands.

Kus Jailih, one of the coordinators of the action, said that this sweeping action had previously been socialized by his party in the Pulogadung Industrial area.

"Yesterday we had socialization in the area. And we through the command car have coordinated with the company parties that they promised to send the masses today. "We give their representatives freedom to them. It can be five people, ten people, fifteen people. They choose," he said.

This mass of workers from the Pulogadung Industrial Estate, East Jakarta, again moved to the mass action point at the Horse Statue, Monas, Central Jakarta.

"We are going to the Horse Statue. All FSPMI workers are 50 thousand people. For Jakarta the target is 5 thousand people," he said.
