JAKARTA - The DPR leadership will immediately schedule a meeting with Commission II of the DPR to discuss the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Elections, the decisions of which are still tough. Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, admitted that until now there has been no consensus regarding the timing of the 2024 General Election. The government proposes the 2024 election voting day on 15 May 2024, while the KPU on 21 February 2024.

"The leadership of the DPR RI and the Chair of Commission II of the DPR RI will hold a consultation meeting in the near future before the recess," said Dasco at the DPR Building, Tuesday, December 7.
