Tomorrow, Police Hold Case Of Transjakarta Bus Collising Pospolpantas PGC East Jakarta

JAKARTA - The investigation into the case of the Transjakarta bus crashing into the Traffic Police Post (Pospolantas) at the intersection in front of the Cililitan Wholesale Center (PGC), Mayjen Sutoyo Street, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, has been completed by the Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police.

The police will immediately hold a case in the near future to determine the legal process related to the accident case.

"All investigations have been completed, the plan is Wednesday, December 8, tomorrow, we want to hold a case before determining the suspect," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Law Enforcer of Traffic Directorate (Gakkum Ditlantas) of Metro Jaya Police, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Argo Wiyono when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, December 7.

As is known, a Transjakarta bus driven by a driver with the initial P crashed into the Police Post. Then it is suspected that a jack fell from under the bus driver's seat. Then the jack pressed the gas pedal so the bus sped up and hit the Traffic Police Post.

"We plan to hold a title tomorrow afternoon to determine the suspect. The investigators will report later, the evidence is like this, we will raise the status later. At the time of the incident, the Transjakarta bus turned back from the direction of UKI Cawang," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Transjakarta bus accident that occurred on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, in front of PGC Cililitan, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, started when the Transjakarta bus maneuvered while making a detour.

"Transjakarta is moving from the north in a circle (turning) again to the north, precisely at the PGC Cililitan intersection. Allegedly, a jack that can lift a load of 15 tons hit the gas pedal. The driver couldn't control it and immediately hit our post," said Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Edy Surasa to VOI on location, Thursday, December 2nd.

Currently, the Transjakarta driver with the initial P is still undergoing examination at the Sub-Directorate of Law Enforcer, Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police.

"The busway driver is being questioned at the Sub-Directorate of Law Enforcer Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police. The driver has the initials P," he said.

The case is handled by the Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police.
