"The victim who went missing while fishing on Sunday morning was found by the SAR team from the Waingapu Basarnas Post dead," said Head of the Kupang Search and Rescue Office, Emi Friezer in Kupang, Antara, Monday, December 6.

He explained that the case of Amson Ndapa Kambombu's disappearance was discovered after a report was made. At that time the victim along with four people went to the beach to dive looking for fish.

He said the SAR team consisting of five people immediately moved to the scene with a distance of 129 km from Waingapu City to carry out SAR operations looking for victims.

He said the search operations carried out by the SAR team were carried out by two teams, namely SAR operations by sea and SAR operations by land.

At 07.55 the land line SAR team found the victim about 200 meters from the scene in a dead condition.

"After the victim was found, it was immediately handed over to the victim's family," said Emi Friezer.
