Received A Report, Vespa Wasp Nest Evacuation Officer From RPTRA Bunga Rampai, East Jakarta

JAKARTA - Visitors to the Bunga Rampai RPTRA, on Jalan Bunga Rampai Raya, No. 35, RT 01/09, Malaka Jaya Village, Duren Sawit Subdistrict, reported the presence of Vespa wasp nests to officers through the JAKI application.

The report of the presence of a wasp nest was immediately responded to by the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. (Sudin Gulkarmat) East Jakarta. At least four rescue team officers were dispatched to the location for the wasp evacuation process.

"Alhamdulillah, the officers managed to evacuate the Vespa tawkn nest with a diameter of 40 cm and a height of 80 cm," said Head of the Operations Section of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Silaeman when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, December 5.

Evacuation was carried out by officers fully clothed with head protection to avoid wasp stings.

"The location of the Vespa wasp nest is in the Bunga Rampai RPTRA. There are no obstacles in the evacuation process," he said. The wasp nest in the RPTRA is very dangerous for visitors and residents around the location. If they are not evacuated immediately, it is feared that residents will be stung if they are near the wasp's nest.

"The Vespa wasp nest is in a red shoot tree. After being evacuated, all visitors to the Bunga Rampai RPTRA were saved from the terror of the wasp nest," he said.
