Panic To Be Chased, Motorcycle Thief In Cilincing Hiding On The Roof Of The House

JAKARTA - A mob judged a battered motorbike thief after being caught hiding above a resident's house in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. The perpetrator was arrested after the victim followed the perpetrator and arrested him.

The incident began when two perpetrators stole an automatic motorbike in front of a resident's house, Cilincing area, North Jakarta.

The victim, who realized his vehicle was missing, then searched and managed to find the perpetrator who was riding his motorcycle. Knowing the victim's actions were known, the perpetrator panicked. The perpetrator had fled. The victim then returned to chase the perpetrator.

The incident was caught on amateur video. From the footage, it can be seen that residents are looking for the perpetrators of the motorcycle theft who fled by climbing the roofs of residents' houses.

But the perpetrator's escape action ended in vain. The perpetrator was caught and became a month for the residents to be battered. Luckily, the vigilante action carried out by residents was successfully dispersed by the East Jakarta Police Traffic Unit officers who passed by the scene.

The Head of the Cakung Police Traffic Unit, Commissioner Adjutant Eko Aprihanto, said that his party received reports from the public who asked for help during regional patrols that there had been an act of theft. Members glide to the location and secure the scene.

"There was an alleged perpetrator of theft of a motorbike who was raged by the mob. The victim was chased by the perpetrator and arrested by the residents," he told reporters, Wednesday, November 24.

For further processing, the perpetrators were handed over to the Cilincing Police, North Jakarta.

"The perpetrators of the theft in the Cilincing area were handed over to the Cilincing Police. The perpetrator was a motorcycle picker, and the letter T key evidence was handed over to the Cilincing Police for further processing," he said.
