General Andika Perkasa Ensures POM TNI Investigate The Arteria Dahlan Feud Incident

JAKARTA - TNI Commander Andika Perkasa stated that the Military Police (POM) had traced the parties recorded in the video of Arteria Dahlan's feud with a woman who claimed to be the family of a TNI general. The search has been carried out since the video went viral on social media.

"That we are searching for the party in the video, and the Military Police commander started last night carrying out the search," Andika told reporters at the National Police Headquarters, Tuesday, November 23.

In the search effort, the TNI POM has coordinated with the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police. The goal is to find information about the case.

"This morning we coordinated with the Airport Police," said Andika.

Later, if it is found that there is a violation of the rules committed by members of the TNI, then the POM will follow up. But if not, the next process will be handed over to the Police.

"So we are ready to receive reports from the two whistleblowers if there is pressure or anything that is complained of and we will report it to the legal process. But our authority is to process the law against members of the military," said Andika.

In the video, the woman claims to be the family of a three-star TNI general and mentions the general chairman of a political party.

After the commotion occurred, Arteria and the woman reported to the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police. Both reported alleged violations of intentional insults contained in Article 315 of the Criminal Code.
