Risma Urges Students Not To Do Perundungan

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini invited 200 student representatives not to bully or bully their friends, especially people with disabilities.

According to Risma, unity must be built without physical distinction as well as ethnicity, religion, race and class (SARA) to maintain the independence from the invaders that the heroes have achieved.

"From now on, Indonesian children here are not allowed to bully their friends, agree? Agree?" Risma said to the students during the activity "Strengthening Heroic Values Through Students," at the Kalibata Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU) Convention building, Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 22.

The invitation was then responded to in agreement by the students.

In addition to inviting students to strengthen unity, Risma also invited students to dance together to the accompaniment of folk songs.

Risma also hopes that similar activities can be carried out throughout Indonesia, so that students can get inspiration from the heroes, and can maintain national unity and integrity.

Risma said she often gets stories from people with disabilities who get bullied from their peers, and make the child feel inferior.

"That's what I instilled, so that they don't get bullied anymore, causing children to feel inferior and don't want to go to school," he said.

The activity “Strengthening Heroic Values Through Students” was attended by 200 students from elementary, junior high, and high school levels in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Bandung.

The series of Heroes Day events closed with the awarding of prizes for scientific work competitions and dialogues with the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini.

The previous series of events included visits to the tomb of the hero Mohammad Hatta, TMPNU Kalibata, as well as the Museum for the Formulation of the Proclamation Manuscript, the Sasmita Loka Ahmad Yani museum, the AH Nasution museum and the Pancasila Sakti monument, followed by watching the documentary film of the 10 November 1945 meeting.
