JAKARTA - The Sumedang Police, West Java is still investigating a resident who was previously reported missing in the Cadas Pangeran area. The police have not been able to determine the cause of him throwing the issue so that hundreds of people are looking for him.

"It's still being investigated," said Sumedang Police Chief AKBP Eko Prasetyo Robbyanto when contacted via his cell phone, Friday, November 19.

AKBP Eko Prasetyo said the man named Yana (40), a resident of Sumedang, was reported missing in the Cadas Pangeran gorge area, Sumedang Regency, last Tuesday, November 16. He was instead found by the police in Cirebon two days later.

When found, Yana was in good health. Now he is still being investigated regarding his actions that make many people look for him.

"Healthy," said the Police Chief when asked about the person's health condition, quoted from Antara.

He revealed that the results of the provisional examination of the person in providing information were still changing, so the purpose of the act was not yet known.

"The information in question is still changing," he said.

Previously, the Sumedang Police had deployed two hundreds of joint personnel to search for a resident who had mysteriously disappeared in the area of the Cadas Pangeran gorge or the Bandung-Sumedang main road.

In addition, the police deployed sniffer dogs to facilitate the search process in the area, but to no avail. The search for missing persons had deployed personnel from the Bandung Basarnas along with complete equipment.

The search effort was based on family reports that Yana was missing in the Cadas Pangeran area. The report was followed up and found the victim's motorbike and helmet on the side of the road, while the driver was not present.

Her family members had time to communicate with Yana who sent a short message via her cell phone that she was resting at Cadas Pangeran.

Furthermore, the victim could not be contacted, his cell phone signal was last detected in the Cadas Pangeran area.
