Police Say The Case At The Condet Was Raided By Residents Regarding The Affair, The Perpetrator Has Been Arrested

JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit has received a report related to an affair. It was previously reported that rape had occurred and residents carried out raids in the Condet area, Jalan Batu Kinyang, Batu Ampar, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. "I just received the report last night. The initial report was an affair, not a rape," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Erwin Kurniawan to VOI, Friday, November 19.

According to the Police Chief, the woman concerned stated that she had consciously admitted to having sexual relations with a man once. "This indication was obtained directly from the statement of the victim's wife, which was corroborated by a written statement signed by the victim's wife," he said. The victim with the initials R, the husband whose wife was having an affair with another man, reported officially to the East Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday, November 18, evening, at around 23.00 WIB. "So far, one person has been detained with the initials R. However, this is still a process because we only received the official report from the victim (husband) tonight," said the Police Chief. The victim's wife also promised in front of her husband that she would not repeat the act. "Currently, the fingerprinting process is still ongoing," he said.
