Viral Security Guard In Medan Was Hit By A White Car Then Dragged 'sticking' To The Kap

MEDAN - Viral security guard was hit by a white car and dragged on the streets of Medan City, North Sumatra. This security guard was 'dragged' holding on to the hood of the car.

A video of a security guard being hit by a car on Jalan Pattimura was shared on social media. In the 25-second video, the security guard manages the car to get out. He stopped a white car that was driving in the left lane.

But the car driver accidentally crashed his car into the security guard slowly. The security guard then hit the hood of the car.

The car driver stepped on the gas until the security guard held on to the hood of the car. He was dragged 10 meters before falling and rolling onto the left side of the highway.

This viral issue is still being investigated by the police. However, there have been no reports of victims being hit.

"Let's try to coordinate later with the Medan Polrestabes. To investigate the car that allegedly hit the security," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, Thursday, November 18.

The police appealed to internal security officers to be careful on duty, especially when on the highway.

"Still prioritizing and maintaining personal safety when providing road access for visitors, be it hotels and crowd centers and so on," he said.

Kombes Hadi hopes that traffic control by security guards will prioritize motorists on the highway.

"So when the main stream is quiet and has the opportunity for visitors to leave the new location we welcome the next one," he said.

Security guards are also advised to equip themselves with sign signs.

"Like a sign or a vehicle stop sign or flash light at night. Because it will have an impact on motorists on the main road," said Kombes Hadi.
