Blora Wants To Copy Bobby Nasution's Electronic Parking That Makes Medan's Local Revenue Rise

JAKARTA - Blora Regency is very interested in studying the electronic parking system that is being implemented by the Medan City Government. This system can prevent leakage of Local Revenue (PAD) from the parking sector.

In order to learn the concept of Medan's electronic parking, the Deputy Regent of Blora, Tri Wuli Setyowati even came to the office of Mayor Bobby Nasution, Wednesday, November 17.

"During the implementation of e-parking, the city of Medan's revenue from the parking sector increased by 155%," said Bobby Nasution, quoted from the Public Relations of the Medan City Government.

In the electronic parking payment system, the Medan City Government uses non-cash payments with payment schemes using QRIS and e-money.

"The payment method for parking is non-cash using QRIS, although we realize that there are still obstacles where people are still not familiar with the QRIS system, so we added a payment scheme using e-money," explained Bobby.

Not only related to e-parking, but this meeting also discussed the development of MSMEs in the city of Medan.

Bobby Nasution explained that currently SMEs in Medan are encouraged to take advantage of digitalization. One of them is by registering MSME actors to the local e-catalog of the Medan City Government so that eating and drinking at the Medan City Government can use products from MSMEs.

"That way we can absorb the products produced by our MSME actors and we also provide 2.5 million assistance for MSME players who have been registered in the local e-catalog of the Medan City Government," said Bobby Nasution.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent of Blora, Tri Wuli Setyowati, explained that she was very interested in the implementation of e-parking in the city of Medan so that she wanted to implement this e-parking system in Blora.
