KPK Investigate Evidence Found Related To Alleged Corruption Of The Tabanan Regional Incentive Fund

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the evidence found related to the alleged corruption of the Tabanan Regional Incentive Fund, Bali. This was done by examining the Head of the Planning and Strategic Section of Bank BPD Bali on Friday, November 12.

"I Dewa Ayu Rai Widyastuti, the Head of Planning and Strategic at Bank BPD Bali, was present and confirmed, among other things, regarding the evidence that had been confiscated", said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Prevention, Ipi Maryati, quoted on Sunday, November 14.

Ipi said the evidence in the form of documents and electronic goods was found when the investigation team searched some time ago.

"(Evidence, ed) was found when the investigative team searched the residence of the party related to this case", he said.

Apart from being confirmed, this evidence was also confiscated by investigators to investigate the alleged corruption of the regional incentive funds.

For information, the KPK is currently speeding up the investigation into the alleged corruption of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) Tabanan, Bali. Several parties have been examined in this case.

However, the anti-corruption commission asked the public to be patient in waiting for the announcement of the suspect and the alleged mode of corruption of the Tabanan Regional Incentive Fund (DID), Bali. This was conveyed by the KPK following the circulation of several names that were said to have been named as suspects in this case.

"In time, we will convey in full the construction of the case from the results of the investigation, the articles suspected, and of course who has been named as suspects", said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, Thursday, November 11.

He said the announcement of the suspect would only be made after the investigation was deemed sufficient and an attempt was made to arrest or detain him.

"We will announce the determination of the suspect when the investigation has been declared sufficient and forced efforts are made to both arrest and detain the suspects", said Ali.

"We hope that the public will continue to monitor the progress of this activity as a form of our transparency as well as efforts to involve the community in every work to eradicate corruption by the KPK", he concluded.
