PDIP: Anies Insists On Formula E To Cover Up Other Unrealized Programs

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI DPRD Gembong Warsono suspects that the reason behind DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is firmly in wanting to hold Formula E.

In fact, Anies had made a power of attorney to the DKI Youth and Sports Office to apply for a debt to Bank DKI to pay the commitment fee in August 2019, before finally being repaid using the DKI APBD.

Gembong suspects that Anies has made Formula E one of the priority programs before his term of office expires because to cover up the reality of other programs that have not been implemented properly.

"Formula E is the governor's priority, that's why he wrote a letter (debt to the bank). Why is Formula E a priority program? The answer is simple, to cover all unrealized programs," said Gembong at the DKI DPRD Building, Friday, November 12. .

There are also programs that have minimal realization as stated by Gembong, namely the construction of Rp0 DP houses, OK OCE, river normalization, target infiltration wells, and other flood management.

With the implementation of Formula E, continued Gembong, it was as if Anies wanted to make people shift their focus only to Formula E and forget the fact that many programs did not go according to plan.

"OK, zero OCE, zero downpayment, zero rupiah, zero flood. Because everything is zero, he pursues this, so that all the people of Jakarta will forget," said Gembong.

"Once given the spectacle of Formula E, everyone forgets. Those who are flooded forget. Those who are promised to get a house, forget. Those who want to become new entrepreneurs, forget. They are distracted by the spectacle of Formula E. That's what is on my mind," he continued.
