JAKARTA - Head of the Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registry (Dukcapil) Sub-Department, Fredi Prasetia, ensured that his party guarantees the replacement of population documents for residents affected by floods and fires.

"If a resident's document is flooded or burned, we immediately replace it, immediately provide services to the location. So, after the disaster, the next day we immediately print out the document," said Fredi when confirmed, Wednesday, November 10.

Fredi appealed to people who are often affected by floods to store important documents in a safe place, especially population data such as Family Cards (KK), Birth Certificates, Divorce Certificates.

"We have also made hundreds of families, Child Identity Cards (KIA), Birth Certificates, and Death Certificates in a number of locations that experienced fires, such as Johar Baru, Cempaka Putih, Karang Anyar, and Kwitang," he said.

Fredi said that in 2022, the population ball pick-up service, which had been suspended for 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, would begin again.

"If there are no changes, we will make sure that next year the community ball pick-up service will start running," he said.
