JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, seems to be struggling to conquer the last incline before finishing the Tour de Borobudur event on Sunday, November 7 yesterday.

He was panting for breath, sweat dripping down his face. The last track of the Tour de Borobudur event this time was indeed extraordinary.

Ganjar and the other participants had to conquer an incline with an elevation of up to 30 percent to Nepal Van Java. A leading tourist destination on the slopes of Mount Sumbing, precisely in Need Hamlet, Kaliangkrik Magelang.

For this route, Ganjar separated himself from the large group that started from Borobudur Temple. Ganjar and his wife, Siti Atikoh Ganjar Pranowo chose to start from the Kaliangkrik Police, which is not too far away, about 10 km.

Just starting, Ganjar was immediately faced with steep climbs. It took a long time for Ganjar to successfully touch the finish line.

"Wow, if this is the path it makes you cringe right. Instead of pushing (until you go sluggish)," said Ganjar, when he arrived at the finish line.

He said the route this time was indeed quite difficult. Elevation or incline routes from 18 to 25 percent. There are even some climbs with an elevation of 30 percent.

“The athletes who participated and managed to finish were all top. Maybe four lungs, yes, I'm already overwhelmed. Sweat dripped from his head. Sooor," he said, quoted from the Central Java Provincial Government Public Relations.

Ganjar had come to the Hamlet of Need during the first campaign. He even had time to stay at a resident's house. But the difference, at that time he came by car. And only this time, he came by bicycle.

Even though it was tiring, Ganjar was happy with the route he took. The beautiful mountain-style scenery fascinated him.

"The sensation is terrific. It's just that the road has to be repaired and widened again. If so, this will be a truly exotic place. For a good trail run, for a good bike too. Top it off," he concluded.
