Gerindra: General Andika Already Knows Papua's Anatomy, Can Be Handled Completely

JAKARTA - The Indonesia House of Representatives Plenary Meeting has officially approved General Andika Perkasa as TNI Commander. The Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) is just waiting for the time to be inaugurated by President Joko Widodo.

Chairman of the Gerindra Faction, Ahmad Muzani, believes General Andika Perkasa can coordinate all the forces of the armed forces into a formidable force in maintaining the defense of the Republic of Indonesia.

"His experience as KSAD is quite long and it is a very valuable provision as commander of the armed forces, commander of the Indonesian National Army", said Muzani at the House of Representatives Building, Monday, November 8.

The member of Commission I of the House of Representatives assessed that General Andika Perkasa could carry out his duties properly and correctly for the nation and state. Including security issues in Papua.

"The Papuan problem goes up and down, I think General Andika already knows the anatomy of the problem in Papua. What approaches he takes, what options he chooses, I think he will handle in a complete, comprehensive manner", explained Muzani.
