Surabaya City Government Prepares Job Training To Business Capital For 11 Wives Of KRI Nanggala Knights 402

SURABAYA - The Surabaya City Government pays special attention to the 11 wives of KRI Nanggala 402 knights, especially those with Surabaya ID cards, one of which is by providing jobs and job training.

"We have given scholarships to their sons and daughters, then we give what the wives of the soldiers need for their families. Some have asked for sewing training, business capital assistance, and we have made them a contract worker," said Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi at the time. handed over the aid to them at the Surabaya City Hall quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 4.

He said the intervention carried out by the Surabaya City Government was a follow-up to the government's commitment to provide full support, both to the educational needs of children, to the incomes of the wives of the patriot knights of KRI Nanggala 402.

His party will continue to monitor and provide assistance to the wives of KRI Nanggala 402 soldiers.

The Surabaya City Government emphasized that Eri Cahyadi wanted to give the best for the fighters of the Indonesian state, especially those from the city of Surabaya.

"The Surabaya City Government will never stop here. We will also do it for MBR residents and after this we will also concentrate on children whose parents died of COVID-19," continued Eri Cahyadi.

The Commander of the Submarine Unit (Dansatsel) Koarmada II Marine Colonel (F) Wirawan Ady Prasetya expressed his gratitude for the attention that the Surabaya City Government has given to the wife of the patriot knight KRI Nanggala 402.

Acting Head of the Surabaya Population Control, Women Empowerment, and Child Protection (DP5A) Office, Antiek Sugiharti, stated that the intervention for the wives of the patriotic knights of KRI Nanggala 402 was how they could become the backbone of the family.

"As the Mayor's commitment with the Chairperson of the TP PKK provides full support. Then, we communicate with his wives who do not have activities and want to increase income for their families. Finally, there are 11 of the 18 wives that we can intervene. For the other seven , they already have activities or jobs," he said.
