JAKARTA - A group of youths carrying sharp weapons such as sickles entered a coffee shop in East Kemang, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta. The perpetrators robbed the shop owner while threatening him with a sickle, Thursday, November 4, at around 01.59 WIB.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mampang Police, Iptu Supriadi, said the incident occurred when the coffee shop guards were washing dishes. Feeling that his life was in danger, the victim complied with the perpetrator's request, which was to give him the cellphone which was then placed on the table.

"The perpetrator was carrying a sickle. The perpetrator acted when the coffee shop guard was washing dishes", he told reporters, Thursday, November 4.

The actions of the perpetrators were caught on CCTV cameras at the scene. From the video footage, it can be seen that the perpetrators entered the shop while carrying sickles.

The video was uploaded to Instagram and went viral. The faces of the perpetrators are also clearly recorded by CCTV surveillance cameras so that they can be easily recognized.

Until now, the case is still under investigation by the Mampang Police.
