Coldplay's Humanitarian Mission In The Everyday Life Music Video

JAKARTA - Coldplay released a music video for the second single, Everyday Life, a follow-up to the previously released Orphans. Like the Orphans music video, Coldplay also appeared and invited people to join in this video clip.

The Everyday Life music video starts with a narrative: "'Ubuntu' is an Xhosa word which means humanity." Overall, Ubuntu is a helping attitude towards others. Helping anyone, even when they are not someone in your life, you should help them.

The visualization features traditional dancers from various countries as well as occasional Coldplay performances singing Everyday Life. Vocalist Chris Martin also appeared playing the piano by the beach.

Coldplay shot for Everyday Life in Ukraine, South Africa, and Morocco. The music video for this song was directed by Because Evans, a 23-year-old actor and director who has directed Drake's video clips such as Nice For What, God's Plan, and In My Feelings.

This video was first broadcast on the South African television channel, Soweto TV and then premiered on YouTube on December 9, 2019. Just so you know, the intro of the song Everyday Life reminds us of another Coldplay song entitled Speed of Sound.

Chris Martin released the album Everyday Life last month which is divided into two parts; Sunrise and Sunset. The launch was marked by their two-sided appearance in Jordan. At that time, Coldplay performed all the tracks from their latest album exclusively.

Previously, Chris Martin announced that he would not go on a concert tour before finding an eco-friendly tour. He wants a ban on the use of single-use plastics at Coldplay's shows. In addition, the concert uses a power plant using sunlight as a power generator.

"We will spend the next year or two designing tours that are sustainable, and also environmentally beneficial," said Chris Martin, told the BBC.
