Doja Cat Rejects Racist Allegations

JAKARTA - Doja Cat, the famous rapper is currently viral because of his busy songs. One of them is Say So, which has been widely uploaded via TikTok. However, along with the popularity of Doja Cat, rumors and gossip have hit Doja a lot, most recently the accusation of him being racist. A user showed Doja Cat following a racist video chat and wrote a song called Dindu Nuffin in 2015. The song is known to be a racist slurs that mock a people .

After that a hashtag DojaCatIsOverParty echoed on Twitter and went viral. Realizing this, Doja immediately created Instagram Live and confirmed the truth.

“I've used public chat rooms since I was little. I am not supposed to be on the site but I have never engaged in any racist conversation personally, ”Doja said on his Instagram Live.

Furthermore, the Juicy singer told herself to be a black woman. He feels proud of himself for being a black woman, of course he doesn't want to be racist.

"(The song) was written as a reply to people who often use that sentence to hurt me," admitted the singer who was born on October 21 of the song Dindu Nuffin.

Doja also apologized for the song he made several years ago. He did not expect that his current popularity led him to some of the things he did in the past.

"I apologize for upsetting or hurting you. That is not my character, and I will show it to everyone in the future. Thank you,"

Doja Cat is known as an artist who often interacts with fans through social media. Through Instagram Live sessions, he often talks about things that appear on the internet, one of which is when an Indonesian Utaite sings the song Say So in Japanese. Doja watched the video and was amazed by Rainych's cover.

Most recently, Doja Cat released a remix of Say So with Nicki Minaj and filled his part in the song In Your Eyes with The Weeknd.
