JAKARTA - Good news for romantic music lovers in the country. The Bandung-based music group, Kahitna, officially announced a major concert titled "Yesterday, Today, Until Later..." to celebrate four decades of their career journey in the Indonesian music industry.

The 40th anniversary of Kahitna's musical celebration is promoted by Enjoy Live Experience and is scheduled to take place at NICE, Jakarta on September 5.

The selection of the date became an emotional meeting point for Yovie Widianto et al. to weave back memories with their loyal fans.

Through the official social media account, Kahitna invited all listeners to attend the big celebration.

"Gathering together to celebrate love," Kahitna wrote in the announcement of the upcoming concert, quoting the caption of an Instagram post, Wednesday, January 21.

Kahitna's existence since 1986 has indeed become a phenomenon in its own right in the national music scene. For 40 years, they have managed to maintain consistency with a distinctive romantic music color and lyrics that touch the heart.

Songs like "Cantik", "Cerita Cinta", to "Andai Dia Tahu" are the main treats that make the audience immerse themselves in a nostalgic atmosphere. These works are not just entertainment, but have become anthems for various cross-generational love stories.

This 40th anniversary moment marks a new milestone after Kahitna successfully held a three-decade celebration concert titled "Secret of Love" in 2016.

Even though the date announcement has been officially released, until now the promoter and Kahitna have not revealed the details of ticket sales.

The presence of this concert will be one of the major music festivals in 2026, considering Kahitna's status as a romantic pop music icon that is timeless.
