JAKARTA - A music and cultural collaboration event, Cross Resonant, is confirmed to be held again this year. Carrying the theme " Hacking Limits", the event, which was initiated by the People of the Right Project, will bring an impromptu supergroup unit that has never existed before.

This supergroup is named Portura "specifically formed to lead the collaborative cross-resonant movement" consisting of Iga Massardi (Bara Suara), John Paul Patton alias Coki (KPR, ALI), Fathia Izzati (Reality Club), Bilal Indrajaya, and Enrico Octaviano (Whirse Competition).

With five musicians from different backgrounds, Portura comes as a single sound canvas that removes the Genre box, band identity, and personal ego.

They are committed to breaking the boundaries of sonic through a new arrangement of two to three songs of their own work.

Iga Massardi, one of Portura's motorbikes, views the group's presence in the Cross Resonant as more than just a music project.

"For me, Cross Resonant is not just a music project. It's like an energy laboratory, where we can all play honestly, without tension, without a wall between bands. On this stage, music can go wild, but also honestly," said Iga Massardi in his statement, Tuesday, November 18.

Meanwhile, this event is a continuation of the success of the Cross Resonant in 2024 which had presented a merger of two large entities, such as Bronze X Danilla, Greenhouse X Bara Suara Effect, and Sore X Bara Suara.

Furthermore, the People of the Right Project seeks to make the Lintas Resonant a collaborative medium that brings to life the synergy between actors and art connoisseurs. They make the roots of locality an important pillar to build a sustainable creative ecosystem, as well as trigger the birth of new trajectories in the landscape of sound and culture in Indonesia.

Portura will bring the spirit of "Violating the Limit" on their journey in four cities. This tour will start in Semarang (11 December 2025), continuing to Bandung (8 January 2026), Tangerang (15 January 2026), and closed in Jakarta (22 January 2026).

Arswandaru will accompany Portura as a visual artist who adds new experiences in every show. He is tasked with translating music into a dynamic and different visual landscape in each city, promising a visual experience that will not be repeated twice.

"We all have our own style and history. But here, we are trying to break that limit, create something new, which doesn't have to be divided. If there is one word that is the most suitable for Cross Resonant, in my opinion it is freedom," concluded Iga Massardi.
