JAKARTA - Limp Bizkit reportedly decided to continue their tour schedule next month in honor of the late Sam Rivers.
As is known, one of the founders and bassist Limp Bizkit died on Saturday, October 18 last week. He breathed his last at the age of 48.
Limp Bizkit is confirmed to start Gringo Papi Tour with Yungblud, Riff Raff, and several other names, scheduled to start in Mexico City on November 29.
The tour schedule continues across South America, with stops in San totaling, Bogottry, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo.
"Limp Bizkit has decided to continue his performance on November 29 at Expanada Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, as part of their Gringo Papi Tour 2025," concert promoter Mexico City said, quoted by The PRP via NME, Friday, October 24.
"That night, every riff and every shout of the audience will resonate in honor of the great legacy that Sam has offered to the nu-metal, because the energy will never be lost," he continued.
Meanwhile, Rivers' last appearance with Limp Bizkit occurred when they performed at the Reading & Leeds 2025 festival last August.

The upcoming stages appear to be a tribute platform, where the bassist's legacy will continue to live and shake.
The decision to continue the tour itself comes amid new details regarding the cause of the bassist's death which began to emerge.
Initially, the band, which was formed in 1994, did not reveal the cause of death. However, TMZ reported that the Rivers had cardiac arrest and were found to be in an unresponsive state.
This fact is in line with what was seen in his last few appearances. Rivers, who left the band temporarily in 2015 before returning in 2018, is known to have worn a T-shirt that read "Fuck Cancer" during a gig with Limp Bizkit this year.
In 2020, Rivers also revealed that the disease he suffered five years earlier was liver disease due to excessive alcohol consumption, which made him have a liver transplant.
"I stopped drinking and did everything the doctor ordered," said Rivers at the time. "I got treatment for alcohol and got a liver transplant, which is the perfect fit."
However, the official cause of the death of the legend nu metal is still unknown to the public today.
