JAKARTA - Good news comes for disc collectors and loyal fans of White Shoes & The Couples Company (WSATCC). After a decade and a half since its initial release, the second studio album titled 'Vaksion Album' was re-released in exclusive vinyl format.

This time, the band consisting of Aprilia Apsari (main vocals), Yusmario Farabi (guitar), Saleh Husein (guitar), Ricky Virgana (bass), Aprimela Prawidiyanti (keyboards), and John Navid (drums) collaborated with the demajors independent record label for its distribution and production.

The latest vinyl edition officially opened a limited pre-order starting Thursday, September 25 at 10.00 WIB, until it closed on September 27 at 23.59 WIB.

If the first vinyl edition of 'Vaccination album' was released in 2012 by Chicago label Minty Fresh, with a quota of 500 copies which at that time were also distributed by demajors, this re-release promises a much superior quality.

David Tarigan of the demajors, who also plays the album producer, expressed his enthusiasm for this revised edition. According to him, the quality of audio and packaging has increased significantly.

"This latest version has better quality than the 2012 one. It is made into two plates, so the audio is richer, plus a packaging of gatefold covers and an exclusive booklet. A more prime presentation," said David Tarigan in his statement, Thursday.

Vinyl, which has a catalog code DMJV 040, comes as 2 x LP at a speed of 33 1/3 RPM, contains a total of 13 important tracks from the WSATC, including "Treading", "Zamrud Equatorial", "Rented Room", to the title track "Vakance".

During the short pre-order period, the 'Vaccination album' is priced at IDR 450,000. The purchase can only be made through the official website www.demajors.com. Prospective buyers need to act quickly, because the pre-order quota is very limited and has the potential to close earlier if the stock runs out.

WSATCC itself will celebrate a decade of this album by bringing the 'Vaksion Album' in its entirety on the Synchronize Fest stage, coinciding with the normal release date of the disk. This is also an important marker of their musical progress.
